Wondrous Cross - 2004 - "So when Jesus had received the sour wine, He said, 'It is finished!' And bowing His head, He gave up His spirit." John 19:30 - Salvation - Jesus is the Rock of our Salvation! The salvation that comes through Christ may be described in three tenses: past, present, and future. When a person believes in Christ, he is saved. But we are also in the process of being saved from the power of sin. Finally, we shall be saved from the very presence of sin; God releases into our lives today the power of Christ's resurrection and allows us a foretaste of our future life as His children. Our experience of salvation will be complete when Christ returns and the kingdom of God is fully revealed. This signature photograph of "Spiritual Images" was taken as Rock Art from the floor of Canyon De Chelley, Arizona.
Horse and Rider - 1996 - "Now I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse. And He who sat on him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and makes war." Revelation 19:11 - On the natural formation Red Rock, near Fountain Hills, Arizona, a profile of a horse and rider can sometimes be seen. This photograph was taken when the viewing conditions allowed for unusual clarity - the horse and rider appear to gallop through the towering clouds.
Light Of The World - 2006 - "In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it." John 1:4-5 - The Light of The World was photographed in the Upper Antelope Canyon near page Arizona. A divinely inspired work of art is created by the play of light and shadows on wind-and-water sculpted sandstone. Follow the light.
Mighty Hand - 1981 - "Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time, casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you." 1 Peter 5:6 - Sunrise at Zabrisky Point, Death Valley, California. As the sun skims mountains, an image of the hand of God revealed.
Mystic Waters - 1975 - Jesus said, "Whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him will never thirst. But the water that I shall give him will become in him a fountain of water spring up into everlasting life." John 4:14 - Prior to photographing this waterfall at Fern Springs, Yosemite National Park, I previsualized the Indian warrior. To achieve the desired results, I utilized a long exposure. This softened the perimeters and enhanced the definition of the headband and Indian feathers. When the photograph was developed, more images revealed themselves; the gaze of a timber wolf, the face of a hawk, and a second profile which has been likened to that of Jesus Christ.
Palm - 1981 - Jesus said, "The wind blows where it wishes, and you hear the sound of it, but cannot tell where it comes from and where it goes. So is everyone who is born of the Spirit." John 3:8 - Graceful palm fronds are captured in this photograph waving in a gentle breeze against a grey sky in Manzanillo, mexico. The intricate detail in this image and the interplay of light and shadow serve as reminders of the presence of God everywhere. To illustrate the Spirit of God, Jesus likened it to the wind.
Century Plant - 1997 - "I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing." John 15:5 - This photograph of a Century Plant in bloom is a fine example of Hamm's expert technique. The mountainous background is as much in focus as the close-up image of the plant. The Century Plant, a member of the agave family, blooms only once in its life, after many years of growth. When ready to bloom, the plant sends up a single stalk which can reach a height of up to 30 feet. The brilliant yellow blossoms can be seen throughout the mountain ranges of the Sonoran Desert.
Great Calm - 1981 - "But he said to them, 'Why are you fearful, O you of little faith?' Then he arose and rebuked the winds and the sea, and there was great calm." Matthew 8:26
Monsoon - 1996 - "Behold, He is coming with clouds and every eye will see Him, even they who pierced Him." Revelation 1:7
Turning Point - 1996 - "But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvellous light." 1 Peter 2:9 - Everyone comes to turning points in life. This photograph was taken at a bend in the road overlooking Roosevelt Lake, Arizona. The photograph is backlit with a great shaft of light stretching from the curve to the water. In this light, the presence of the Holy Spirit is revealed.
Fountain - 1996 - And he said to me, "It is done! I am the alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. I will give of the fountain of the water of life freely to him who thirsts.'" Rev. 21:6 - This is a stunning photograph of the fountain at Fountain Hills, Arizona recognized by the Guinness Book of World Records as the world's tallest fountain, it is capable of sending a jet stream of water 560 feet up toward heaven. An awesome interpretation of our Heavenly Father's water of life!
God is Good - 1997 - "And God called the dry land Earth, and the gathering together of waters He called Seas. And God saw that it was good." Genesis 1:10 - Over one large area of Arizona's Sierra Ancha mountains, winter storms channel water down into a stream known as Salome Creek. On it's path Southwest toward Roosevelt Lake, God has carved a cathedral-like canyon of pink and white sandstone.
Reflections of Mexico - 1981 - "Then He said to His disciples, 'The harvest truly is plentiful, but the laborers are few.'" Matthew 9:37 - At the beautiful coast of Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, these laborers collect sand and fill the bags on their burros, return to their homes and make concrete for their floors.
Secret Place -1993 - "My people will dwell in a peaceful habitation, in the secure dwellings, and in quiet resting places. Isaiah 32: 18 - This photograph was taken near Mexican Hat, Arizona. A woman's profile can be seen in the vibrant desert colors on the mountain. She appears to be in peaceful repose like God's people in their quiet resting places.
Bridge - 1998 - "Jesus told him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me. If you had known Me, you would have known My Father also; and from now on you know Him and have seen Him.'" John 14: 6-7 - The image of the Christian fish appears in this photograph to be formed by the bridge and its reflection at Roosevelt Lake, Arizona. This bridge is the longest single span two-lane bridge in the world, measuring over 1,000 feet in length. Jesus is the bridge between man and God.
Night Watcher -1995 - "He will not let you foot slip - He who watches over you will not slumber; indeed, He who watches over you will neither slumber nor sleep." Psalm 121: 3-4 - The perfect profile of an Indian watching over Canyon de Chelley, Arizona was revealed through the use of technique of edge-lighting. (This image has never before been captured in photograph). The power of this magnificent image brings to mind how our heavenly Father watches over us always.

White House Ruin - 1995 - "Therefore whoever hears theses sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rick: and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it did not fall, for it was founded on the rock." Matthew 7:24-25 - Jesus is the Rock of our salvation! The presence of these 1000-year-old Native American dwellings at Canyon De Chelley, Arizona, calls to mind the Lord's protection of the house built on the Rock and the ruin of the house built on the sand. Warm afternoon light gives the image a sepia hue. Notice the large petroglyph on the rock face.
